Summer Reading 2026 is here!
We believe it's important to balance leisure and relaxation with ongoing intellectual development during the summer. Our aim is to inspire intellectual curiosity while encouraging students to incorporate recreational reading into their summer activities.
About the Summer Reading Program
The summer reading program is a collaborative effort between the English department and other departments.
We encourage parents to join students in reading and discussing the books on the reading list. And, of course, we hope students read far beyond the minimum, whether they select titles from the lists curated on this site or choose books on their own, to meet our new reading challenge.
Summer Reading Books
For the summer of 2026, students will be required to read the All School Read and at least two additional books. The other two books could be the required reading for the KEC program, JFK program, Honors US History, or a selection of their choice.
